CP Screw Press are aggressive single screw presses with high torque. The compact press features a hollow shaft gear box resulting in a machine that is more portable. They are perfect for compressing, squeezing and dewatering materials through mechanical pressure.
CP-4
The smallest of our presses, the CP-4, is a versatile powerhouse. Popular for laboratory trials due to its compact size, affordability, and ease of implementation. It can be plugged into any 110-volt wall outlet. Also, the capacity is such that it can be conveniently fed from 5-gallon pails. Many of our clients start with the CP-4 to determine efficacy of a process then upgrade to a larger size to increase production capabilities.
CP-6, CP-10, and CP-12
When you want a little more processing power the CP-6 , CP-10 and CP-12 are at your service. The size ranges from 6 inches to 12 inches respectively for the nominal diameter of the screw. With additional options in our VP, KP and TSP if you need larger or different capabilities.
How it Works
The screw rotates inside a screen, forcing liquid through this screen. The screens are built with stainless steel profile bar (wedgewire) or reinforced perforated sheets. The screw has a graduated pitch with interrupted flighting to maximize dewatering and prevent co-rotation when paired with resistor teeth. Press cake moisture is controlled by a discharge cone, actuated by an air cylinder. This provides an additional level of dewatering control only offered by Vincent Corporation.

Customization Available
Over the years we have improved on the CP design to make it easier to clean, upgrade hopper capacity, increase safety, and enhance performance. Units are frequently customized to meet customer needs. Stands with wheels are also available. VFD’s which accept single phase power are used to allow variable speed operation. Gearboxes can be changed for different screw speeds. Various screw options, including hardsurfaced, notched, and conical, are offered. On occasion the press is made vapor-tight, with an explosion proof motor.
