In the Fall of 1931 Dan B. Vincent placed in operation the first dryer used to produce animal feed from citrus
peel. This began a series of successful feedmilling systems. The firm was active
in the field of fish
processing and conversion of forage crops and sugar cane bagasse. As a
refinement of these processes, the Company developed a superior screw dewatering
press, first produced in 1952.
Today the Company specializes in the design engineering and manufacturing of
screw presses. The principal market served is
the pulp and paper
industry, although we have retained our strength in the world-wide citrus industry. Newer series of press
designs involve smaller units for dewatering food waste, manure, and sludges.
