During the last four years, Vincent has built up a rental group of screw presses, shredders, and Fiber Filters. We also have static screens and a rotating drum dryer. The presses range in size from 4" to 16" (CP-4 to VP-16). We are continuing to expand the rental fleet to where it now numbers over eighty machines.

The machines are available primarily for a potential client to test his application on-site. This is important where testing in Tampa is not adequate, as when process temperature and material spoilage are considerations. Testing of dilute flows or high mass flows are generally performed more economically on-site.

We require that the client pay the freight to and from the test site. In a few cases, especially where the application represents a significant market potential, we will waive the first two week's rent.

Since the rental fleet is a sales tool, we make the rentals easy. We have a simple one page form. Vincent assumes the responsibility for all maintenance and wear and tear, and the rental can be terminated by the client at any time with no further obligation.

Rentals are available on a first ordered, first served basis. There have been instances where companies have been disappointed because they delayed in faxing us their rental request.

Several rentals are done on a permanent basis. On occasion a client has held a rental machine until we can deliver a new unit. This has led to situations of unpredictable rental machine availability.

One side benefit of the rental program is that Vincent has gained considerable operating and maintenance experience with our full range of machines. This has led to numerous design changes and product improvements.

Most rental presses and Fiber Filters are taken from new production. Occasionally, trade-in units are obtained. And on many occasions we have had to turn to the used equipment market to obtain badly needed models.
