Vincent Corporation specializes in the design engineering and manufacturing of screw presses. The largest screw press markets served are the pulp and paper industry, citrus industry, and dairy farms. Newer series of screw press designs focus on dewatering food waste, produce and cannery waste (especially corn silage and peeler sludge). Juice extraction presses, plastics recyclers, vapor-tight presses, alfalfa, transgenetic (GM) tobacco, and chitin, are important niche markets. In the Fall of 1931 Dan B. Vincent placed in operation the first dryer used to produce animal feed from citrus peel. This began a series of successful feedmilling systems. The firm continues active in the field of citrus processing, specializing in pectin peel as well as animal feed. Our most active markets are (a) pulp and paper (clarifier underflow, knots & shives, screen rejects), (b) dewatering produce waste from fresh cut, canneries, and produce packers, (c) cooking oil recovery from crumb and fines, and (d) manure separation at large dairies. Our strongest selling tool is a rental fleet of over one hundred machines.
